Manuel A. Mejía Gómez boasts an impressive career spanning over three decades within Financial Services. His journey through the industry is a testament to his unwavering dedication and multifaceted expertise.

Manuel began his professional career at Citibank N.A., in the Executive Management Program. His growth withing the bank eventually led him to the Commercial Lending Division.

Manuel also made a mark in Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley, assuming the role of Vice President and Retirement Planning Specialist. His portfolio included an array of individual, corporate accounts, qualified plans, and endowment accounts.

He continued his Wealth Management career at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico where he led a dynamic team comprising a Private Banker, Financial Planner, Insurance Advisor, Lending Officer. He also supported three retail branches, providing investment advice to clients, and branch fellow employees. Manuel continued his wealth management career in the insurance industry with OneAmerica Financial concentrating on life, health and annuities. 

Driven by his desire to offer a more personalized service to his clientele, he subsequently founded The Partnership Financial.

An essential facet of Manuel’s professional identity is his commitment to corporate social responsibility and his active involvement in initiatives aimed at enhancing socioeconomic and entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Manuel's leadership extends to the heart of his community. He has held various significant roles in several prominent organizations, including Chairmanship of the Board of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce. In this influential role, he oversaw a diverse multisectoral board of 33 members and a membership base of over 1,800, that span from Fortune 500 companies to self-employed professionals. Among several successful initiatives and engagements for the benefit of the Chamber, the private sector and the community, Manuel’s most precious legacy is being founder of the Scholarship Fund for students with disabilities and economic hardship, a philanthropic endeavor that has endured for over 17 years and continues to preside over the scholarship committee.

Some of his previous commitments with other organizations are among Boys Scouts of America Puerto Rico Council and the "School to Work" federal aid program. His participation extends to the Rotary Club, United Way, Sol Isolina Ferré Centers for the Disadvantaged, and various other impactful programs. At present, he holds the position of President at PROOF, a community and business organization that is at the forefront of positive change in his community.

Manuel holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the University of New Haven, Connecticut. He appreciates the arts, music, and traveling, has a passion for tennis and enjoys the world of sports. His most cherished moments are those spent in the company of his family, friends and two dogs. He is happily married and the proud father of a 23-year-old son. Manuel's journey is a testament to his commitment to the financial services industry and dedication to making a positive impact on the world around him.
